"This place is amazing with delicious food and the review I read from Nick is disappointing for real. Nice cozy little spot in Kannapolis first of all. A bbq restaurant with a nice bakery and as I stated before, delicious food. They also have generous portions for the amount of $$ it costs to eat there. My girlfriend and I ate there and spent a little over $20 and got an insane amount of food and in 2025 that's hard to get. I highly recommend the fried jalapenos as a side. After we were done we got a few things from the bakery which were all delicious as well. The staff was friendly and attentive and we definitely will be coming back."

"Pretty disappointing overall, tbh. Had high hopes considering they catered for a friend's event, but it fell way short. Barbecue plate was FULL, so you're definitely getting your money's worth, but the quality of it didn't match. The meat was tender, but zero flavor. Couldn't even tell if they smoked it or not, or however they cook it. The white slaw was dry, which is surprising considering its SLAW. Fries were fries, and hush puppies were good. Called right when they opened and was told it would be 10-15 minutes, but it ended up being 30 minutes. Not appreciated for my lunch break lol. Staff was friendly upon pickup and there were already a few tables inside, but I don't anticipate on returning. Cost was a little more than what's listed on their FB, but it's nice to see they haven't jacked up their prices too much in the last few years."

"I come here most Wednesdays to get their meatloaf special with mashed potatoes and green beans. It's delicious. Ask for gravy! Their fried seafood is delicious and their flounder sandwich makes my grandson and me very happy. They have great hamburgers and well, a lot of things on their menu are craveable. The service is always top notch."

"The food was amazing. Hot, fresh cooked to order. I got the oyster Po Boy and my husband got the pulled pork sandwich. The squash and fries were perfection. The oysters tender and creamy. The pulled pork was tender and tasty! We bought cake slices to take home, they did not disappoint. The service was fast and friendly. Our only complaint was the lighting which was cool blue was unpleasant but not unbearable. We plan to return. Great food, great service at a reasonable price. 9/10"

"Love this place! It's a quick diner-like eatery with greasy southern food options and sweet treat galore! Kids and grandparents are guaranteed to love it here! This place is popular and the parking lot is always full to be prepared to be apart of the Field House field trip!"

"Charming and friendly restaurant. The BBQ was fine, but nothing to rave about in my opinion. The bakery attached had delicious cookies but the pastries (cannolis, cream horn, eclairs, etc.) were all filled with frosting and very disappointing."
